Inmate Escapes Prison In Atoka County |

ATOKA COUNTY--------For the residents of Stringtown, the Mack Alford state prison is something their use to. But a person escaping from the facility is something that will never become normal for Ivana Botts. "There has been like 5 people escape out of it," Stringtown resident, Ivana Botts said. Prison Officials say Saturday afternoon 31 year old Joshua Holt was reported missing during a inmate count, but instead of breaking through wire Prison Officials say he just walked away. "Mr.holt was doing time for non-violent related crimes out of Stevens County. He was in the minimum security area.” Mack Alford has two facilities a maximum and a minimum security correction center. The minimum security area has no barbed wire or fencing giving holt the chance to easily leave. But Botts feels all inmates should be behind the fence so this is never a problem. Read More. |
