ORLANDO (WESH/NBC) - An autopsy revealed a Florida inmate died because of an untreated infection after a police dog bit him. Willine Gracia said she can finally say goodbye to her son, Max Gracia, after the report revealed he died of septic shock as a result of the wounds. "The manner at which he died, it has killed me inside. What I found out has just taken me back to the day he died," Gracia said. On Aug. 6, Orlando police said Max Gracia violently resisted arrest related to an armed robbery. A police K-9 bit him several times, and he was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for his injuries. Read More. |
