Officials are investigating the death of a convicted murderer at Auburn Correctional Facility. Michael Rodriguez was found at 6 a.m. Tuesday with a shoelace tied around his neck and cell bars, according to the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. The 61-year-old was pronounced dead at the prison infirmary. An official cause of death has yet to be obtained from the Cayuga County Medical Examiner's office. Read More. |
