Man who targeted DOC worker's home threatened prison staff before |

KUSA -The man accused of attempting to burglarize the home of a Department of Corrections officer late last month and then shooting at shefiff's deputies in Colorado Springs has a history of threatening Department of Corrections staff, parole violations and violence. Thomas Guolee, 34, was a suspected associate of 28-year-old Evan Ebel, the man who shot and killed the DOC's executive director Tom Clements in March 2013. Guolee was questioned in that case, but never arrested. He is also a reported member of a white supremacist prison gang. Guolee faces more than a dozen felony charges, such as attempted murder of a peace officer and auto theft, after leading deputies on a chase through the city and opening fire during the Dec. 30 incident.
