WETHERSFIELD, Connecticut — Connecticut's Department of Correction is changing the way it rewards prison inmates for good behavior. The policy announced on Monday would allow prisoners deemed a low security risk to earn more credits than those labeled as high risk. The current Risk Reduction Earned Credit Program allows inmates to earn five days off their sentence each month for good behavior regardless of their risk level. Read More. |
