A massive investigation is underway in Georgia after more than 50 people, including Georgia state corrections officers, have been implicated in a corruption scandal at Jimmy Autry State Prison. Several Georgia Department of Corrections employees have been federally charged on numerous counts, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering and accepting bribes for surreptitious contraband smuggling.
