DOVER -- The name of an inmate who died at Strafford County House of Corrections on Tuesday has been released.

Reno Joseph Demesmin, 28, was found dead in his cell at approximately 1:42 p.m., and an investigative team from the Sheriff's Department was sent to the jail.

Demesmin had been housed at the facility for 112 days, pending an upcoming trial or plea deal. He was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's Office in November of last year, and charged with interstate transportation for his alleged involvement in prostitution-related activities, according to Chief Deputy Brenda Mikelson.

Mikelson said there is no indication of foul play, and a toxicology report still has to be completed, but it appears that Demesmin died of a heart attack.
