| New inmate escape notification policy |

After a Target 2 Investigates story last year, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections is now changing a policy when it comes to inmate escapes. Last year, Target 2 found there’s no state law that requires law enforcement to notify the public of an escape within a certain timeframe. Last October, we reported on Leland LaRock and Austin Reynolds, who escaped from the Winnebago Correctional Center convicted of burglary and robbery. Read More. |
