HOUGHTON, MI-- An escapee from the Houghton County Jail may be back in the area. The Sheriff’s Office received a tip Thursday that John Saatio, 35, was seen walking on US-41 near Michigan Tech’s campus. After searching the Houghton/Hancock areas deputies and local police were unable to locate a subject matching Saatio’s description. Read More. |
