Advises management with appropriate resolutions regarding employee related issues such as corrective action and utilizes corporate human resources department as needed.

Assists with performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within program/facility.

Assists with salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within program/facility.

Administers benefits paperwork and provides completed paperwork to corporate office such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, and leaves of absence.

Assists with investigating accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.

Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and provides exit interviews.

Responsible for administering Affirmative Action Plan, Worker's compensation, unemployment insurance and safety, so that positive employee relations are promoted, the company is kept in compliance with government regulation, and exposure to litigation is minimized.


Requirements:

Associates Degree in related field and minimum three years related experience in Human Resources or BA/BS degree in related field and minimum one year related experience.

Must be familiar with current labor laws, fundamentals of management and office procedures and organization; familiar with computerized human resources system preferred.

    <description>The Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC) provides safe and temporary housing for youth with pending legal action in the Cook County Courts. 
&lt;p&gt;
Cook County is currently looking for a &lt;b&gt;Deputy Executive Director for Programs and Professional Services &lt;/b&gt; to work in the JTDC Facility.  Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Deputy is responsible for formulating, organizing, and directing the overall support service functions for the facility&#8217;s ten (10) operating Centers as well as staff from all ancillary divisions. The Programs and Professional Services Department includes the following support services: Training and Professional Development; Policy Development and Quality Assurance; Gender-Responsive Programs; and Volunteer Services. The Deputy directly manages approximately ten (10) department directors and support staff. 
&lt;p&gt;
&lt;b&gt;This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: &lt;/b&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
&#8226;	As a major member and contributor on the JTDC Leadership Team, the Deputy plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day operations of: 1) Training and Professional Development; responsible for providing or providing for mandated and elective training for apx. 600 JTDC employees; 2) Policy Development and Quality Assurance; responsible for development and review of JTDC policy and procedures as well as adherence to state and federal standards; 3) Gender-Responsive Programs and Volunteer Services. &lt;br&gt;
&#8226;	Serves as the Administrator on Duty (AOD) on a rotating basis, providing 24-hour availability to the facility and assessing appropriate course of action to various situations that may arise. &lt;br&gt;
&#8226;	On-call and able to report to the facility during non-traditional hours to address emergency situations (maximum response time of 30 minutes). &lt;br&gt;
&#8226;	Provides direct supervision for approximately ten (10) department directors and support staff; facilitates regular meetings for the Programs and Professional Services Department, schedules and completes individual performance plans and reviews; maintains and enforces disciplinary measures; approves time off; assigns work and provides guidance and training; and establishes annual goals and objectives for the Department. &lt;br&gt;

STG International, Inc is seeking qualified candidates for Medical Laboratory Technicians positions. These candidates must be able to work Monday through Saturday from 0800-1800.
 
This position requires the applicant to provide proof of U.S. citizenship to work at the government facility. Applicants are required to complete a professional credentialing and background verification process, which can take 30 - 90 days, prior to commencement of employment.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties of the Medical Laboratory Technician. Health care workers shall perform in accordance with established principles, practices and ethics of the Medical Laboratory Technician profession and written policies, procedures and requirements of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and shall apply age specific knowledge and competency appropriate to patient population served. The standards of performance for all health care workers shall reflect the degree of care, skill, and learning expected of a reasonably prudent health care worker in the professional category to which he or she belongs.  As assigned, the health care workers shall perform all applicable duties given in Section C of the basic contract and the following duties: 


Perform clinical laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology and blood bank using manual or automated instrumentation, according to established laboratory procedures.


Calculate test results and measure prescribed quantities of samples during tests.


Identify pertinent details of specimens under microscopic study.


Evaluate data against measurable criteria in the performance of laboratory tests.  Bring unusual or grossly abnormal test results to the attention of the section supervisor.  Perform and record Quality Control Procedures as required.


Receive written requisitions from health care providers for routine and special laboratory tests.


Set up and adjust laboratory equipment and apparatus. Prepare slides for microscopic analysis.


Record test results to flat logs and request slips and file reports in CHCS/AHLTA.


Seek clarification of duties, as necessary. Obtain knowledge regarding specialized tests, such as how the tests are obtained, processed, shipped and whether test results are reaching the providers and/or patients.


Perform light general cleaning of work areas such as collection of trash, autoclaving specimens, cleaning bench tops, light dusting, sweeping and mopping.


Conduct patient in-processing prior to specimen collection, including review of paperwork accompanying patients and cordial guidance and assistance.


Perform proper venipuncture, finger-stick and heel-stick procedures using correct techniques.


Adhere to laboratory safety protocols.


Perform phlebotomy-related administrative and clerical procedures of the Front Desk Section of the lab.


Fully document all samples obtained according to the laboratory&#8217;s standard operating procedures.


Follows established MTF policies and protocols for reporting findings of examined slides.

Required Skills:

Possess an Associate&#8217;s Degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry) from a community or junior college or a certificate from a hospital, vocational or technical school accredited in clinical laboratory science by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).


Possess a current certification and registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (MLT-ASCP).


Possess certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, Health and Human Services or American Medical Certification, or hold state licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician from any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands and maintenance of same. Certification from an Armed Forces (DoD) program is also acceptable. The health care worker is responsible for complying with all applicable licensing regulations.


Experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician of at least 12 continuous months within the preceding 24 months.

Job Description 
The Gender Justice Advisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) monitoring and reporting on the legal status of female prisons and prisoners; 2) drafting, revising, or developing policies in the National Standard Operating Procedures Manual that provide for protection of women in prison; 3) enhancing and developing vocational and training opportunities for female prisoners; 4) connecting with and reporting on gender related activities with the CSSP appointed Gender Liaisons; 5) evaluating the recruitment, retention, training, and promotion of female staff within the Central Prisons Directorate and develop plans to increase the number of female corrections officials; 6) other initiative to support female corrections officers and female prisoners as directed by NAS Kabul.

 
Position Requirements 
Minimum Qualifications:

&#8226;Bachelors degree in a behavioral or social science from an accredited college or university


&#8226;Minimum of 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in corrections, probation, and/or parole


&#8226;Minimum of 2 years experience as a Deputy Warden or higher (or the equivalent)


&#8226;Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources


&#8226;Graduate of a certified corrections or probations/parole academy


&#8226;Demonstrates a working knowledge of gender issues, including international conventions, treaties, and protocols that relate to gender issues

Appointed by, and reporting to, the Director of the Health Care Agency, the Director MIHS leads a staff of over 400, with a budget of $179.3M, in three divisions: Health Disaster Management, Institutional Health Services, and Medical Services Initiative.  Responsibilities include structuring emergency response functions; providing around-the-clock health services for adults and juveniles housed in facilities operated by law enforcement and social services; administering various payment programs for indigent medical services, entirely through contracts with private medical providers.

STG International, Inc is seeking qualified candidates for Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist positions. These candidates must be flexible to work 8.5 hour shifts, Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700-1900.
 
 
 
This position requires the applicant to provide proof of U.S. citizenship to work at the government facility. Applicants are required to complete a professional credentialing and background verification process, which can take 30 - 90 days, prior to commencement of employment.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:

In the performance of work, the Health Psychologist applies psychological principles and techniques to problems of human effectiveness, maladjustment, and psychological disturbances; and evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychological and neuropsychological disorders. The Health Psychologist shall demonstrate an understanding of the pathophysiology and biology of pain and how psychology (personality/emotional/psychosocial) influences pain perception and patient adjustment to pain. In the performance of the duties, the Health Psychologist shall utilize appropriate assessment tools to identify a prospective patient&#8217;s psychological appropriateness for certain medical procedures, particularly more invasive procedures, and identify patients at risk for further decompensation.  Additionally, The Health Psychologist shall demonstrate an understanding of how biology, physiology, cognition, pharmacology, and psychology influence health and health behaviors and shall apply appropriate interventions targeted at increasing medical compliance (taking medications, checking insulin, etc.), promoting healthy behaviors (exercise, healthy eating), and reducing maladaptive behaviors (i.e. smoking cessation, alcohol abstinence, etc.).


Perform mental behavioral health evaluations and provide therapy. Apply and oversee the application of psychological procedures and techniques in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychological and neuropsychological disorders. Perform individual and group therapy, behavior modification paradigms, biofeedback procedures, and hypnosis in treating psychological disorders, and in assisting individuals to achieve more effective personal and interpersonal adjustment.


Plan and conduct clinical psychological research. Determine methods to be used in investigation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health problems. Provide education and training in psychological theory, diagnostic techniques, treatment modalities, and related mental health programs to psychologists, allied health disciplines, and personnel in medical, educational, managerial, social, and community programs.


Apply psychological interventions in multiple medical clinics and settings to include Primary Care, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Oncology, Pain Clinic, Mental Health Clinic, and the Wounded Warrior Battalion. 


Serve as advisor and consultant to other staff in the specialized areas of clinical psychology to include comprehensive psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment with special emphasis on Health Psychology.


Directly evaluate difficult and complex cases to determine appropriate placement in Inpatient/Outpatient care or referral to other agencies and to determine the appropriate types of individual/group interventions to be employed.


Communicate the results of the evaluations and participate in therapy program development and consultation with all levels of staff.


Serve as consultant to other staff psychologists. Conducts research on the Behavioral Health Psychology Service program effectiveness. Train others in the specialized area of health psychology.


Provide professional assistance to the Substance and Alcohol rehabilitation Program (SARP) program, as requested.


Provide therapeutic treatment and evaluation of patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Combat Stress Disorders and Traumatic Brain Injury.


Provide psychological assessment and treatment of individuals confined in the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Brig, as requested.


Provide input to medical board determinations and administrative separations as requested.


Conduct clinical staff education when requested to enhance knowledge, understanding, and awareness of post traumatic stress disorder, and treatment options for the management of post traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and other combat related disorders.
