| Description: | The County of Imperial is seeking candidates for the position of Chief Deputy-Corrections. Located in the southeast corner of California and covers 5,200 square miles, it has a population of approximately 180,000 residents, including seven incorporated cities, The County Seat is the City of El Centro, which is located along Interstate 8 between San Diego, California and Yuma, Arizona. Under the direction of the Undersheriff, manages the Correctional Division of the Sheriff’s Department; administer, plan, coordinate, and direct the operations, activities, and personnel at the County’s Correctional Facilities. Possession of an Associate’s Degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field and five years of experience working in a correctional facility. At least three years of the required experience must be at the Corrections Lieutenant level or higher. Valid California Driver’s License. Completion of PC 832 and possession of a STC Management Course Certificate. |
