Description: | *This position is offering a $5,000 bonus after 12 months of employment!* The Indian Creek Correctional Center houses 1,060 male inmates and operates one of the largest Therapeutic Community Treatment Programs in the nation. Location: Chesapeake, VA – Indian Creek Correctional Center Schedule: Full-time, at least 40 hours. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 7:45 AM-4:45 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. (As an exempt position, the candidate may be required to work greater than 40 hours per week.) Salary: $45,000-$56,000 The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for: Direct management of all clinical aspects of the treatment programs within the assigned dorm. Clinical supervision and career development of personnel. Ensuring adherence to Spectrum clinical design and written clinical plan. Working closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality delivery of services and promote a healing environment where people with substance use disorders can learn to live in recovery as returning citizens. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or closely related field, or equivalent experience is required; Master's degree preferred. Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred. Formal education in Human Services field and/or applicable lived experience is highly preferred. Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required Must be qualified to provide clinical supervision to staff seeking certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors within two (2) years of employment is required. Experiences working in Therapeutic Community model programs is a plus. Experience working within a correctional or secure environment is a plus.
