| Description: | Community Education Centers (CEC) is a leading provider in the field of residential and outpatient community corrections programs. Working in over 100 locations across the U.S., we provide a foundation of support to change addictive and criminal behaviors and effectively prepare our residents for community reintegration. With innovative methods that encompass assessment, drug and alcohol education, and education services for juvenile and adult populations, we are redefining effective means to reduce recidivism. We are currently seeking a Central Regional Director to lead our Central Region, which includes IL, AL, and IN. Maintaining business relationships while promoting the mission of CEC will be imperative in this role We’ll also rely on your operational and financial expertise to facilitate the highest level of performance for our state-of-the-art correctional institutions and prison based substance abuse treatment programs. This will entail line authority managing staff, developing and implementing facility processes, and maintaining a clear customer focus. Activating new treatment programs and community corrections facilities located in states that are new business to the Central Region will be an area of attention for this individual. The qualified candidate will be an experienced Correctional Manager with an operations background and a proven track record of sound judgments. Your knowledge of therapeutic practices will be vital to support the treatment provided to our residents. Exceptional integrity, organizational and communication strengths are required. You must be available 24/7 and be willing to travel on a regular basis. Living in a state within the Central Region is preferred. Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology/Criminal Justice or related field. Clinical certification in substance abuse preferred with a minimum of 10 years of progressive management and/or administrative experience in the Criminal Justice/Treatment field. Institutional experience, treatment experience and knowledge of the principles and practices of administration of correctional operations is required. |
