| Description: | FACILITY DIRECTOR / WARDEN (AA1123) What is Cornell Companies? The candidate for this position manages facility personnel, inmates, assets and budget according to the statement of work. Typical duties include: * Manage monthly line item budget in order to maintain fiscal budget control * Provide training to staff * Monitor staff performance using disciplinary action or performance evaluations * Prepare administrative reports * Monitor office and medical supply inventory * Act as primary liaison with federal and state agencies The right candidate will have: * B.A. in social or behavioral sciences plus 1 year at the supervisory level in a related field or * 5 years of experience in correctional supervision or management * Familiarity with current correctional systems, legislation, relevant case law and industry standards and practices * Successful completion of criminal background check, driver's license check, drug screening and psychological testing |
