| Description: | Dallas County is recruiting for a Post-Trial Service Officer. The incumbent will interview, monitor, and supervise defendants placed on the Alternative Sentencing Program by the Courts. Monitors and documents defendants' activities through GPS tracking, vehicle interlock, SCRAM, etc., and monitoring reports. Maintains an open line of communication with the Courts in reference to progress and conduct of the defendants through reports on compliance with alternative conditions for the Courts consideration. Performs related duties as assigned. Requirements include Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, social services, public administration or related field. Two (2) year work related experience. Demonstrate effective interviewing skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license with good driving record. Must pass an extensive background investigation. Mandatory drug testing prior to employment. |
