| Description: | SUMMARY The position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within and outside the state of Nevada, managing customer issues, coordinating the admission process, gathering data on competitors, and providing program information to to all decision makers as well as those who have influence on placement decisions. One part time employee will be located in Las Vegas, NV. and one part time employee will be located in Montana They can either 1)work from their home or 2) out of the ACB facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Coordinate appropriate services in the best interest of the client, family members, community, and outside referral agencies. Establish and maintain on-going relationships with those individuals within designated territory to increase their use of Abraxas' programs. Develop knowledge of Abraxas' programs, including similarities and differences among the programs and accreditations and a basic understanding of funding streams. Gain familiarity with services provided by the competitors. Gather and disseminate appropriate information relevant to improving/expanding services within designated territory. Educate customers on programs and services, distribute marketing materials, and provide updates regarding services and current events. Conduct needs assessments in territory to assess growth opportunities. maintain visibility and contact with customers by attending court hearings, placement meetings, and office visits. Be accessible to customers and programs by phone and email. Manage customer issues/complaints in a timely manner by gathering the facts, communicating with program management, and being responsible to their needs. Screen all referrals and collect paperwork required for admissions (court order/ immunizations/applications, etc.) Maintain written and oral communication with programs as it relates to referral status, court dates, transportation, required paperwork and interview. Sumit weekly statistics that includes accurate information regarding referral activity. Sumbit monthly marketing reports that pertain to information such as competition, customer status, funding changes, and customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction gathered in assigned territory. Meet program budgeted and/or forcasted utilization. Maintain marketing binder & marketing schedule. Distribut weekly bed-openings to customers. Update weekly program communications. Participate on weekly department conference calls. Attend management meetings, conferences and trainings. Represent the company in territory and conferences maintaining proper dress and professionalism at all times. Meet established individual and group quarterly goals. Support Abraxas' philosophy and mission and promote the Seven Key Principles of Care. Perform other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience BA/BS degree in related field and minimum two years related experience in juvenile justice field or child welfare system. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply basic math skills concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Word processing and email Other Skills and Abilities Knowledge of child welfare and juvenile justice system. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Other Qualifications At least twenty-one (21) years of age Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34 clearances, specific State and child clearances and if necessary FBI) Valid driver's license Valid registered vehicle insurance Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
