| Description: | DRUG & ALCOHOL COUNSELOR (YO1642) The candidate for this position provides a full range of counseling/case management services to delinquent/dependent youth with substance abuse/use problems. Typical duties include: * Coordinates and implements case management activities * Develops and implements treatment plans to include the provision of at least 10 hours of treatment services during primary care hours each week * Provides individual counseling and completes related documentation The right candidate will have: C.A.C.II or C.A.C.III licensure and one (2) years of counseling experience, or; Associates Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or related field and two (2) years of clinical experience, or; BA/BS Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field and one (1) year of clinical experience, or; MA/MS Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field, which includes a practicum in a health and human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
