| Description: | DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Site Dentist 1. Examine patients and document findings on standard forms, utilizing applicable dental classification systems (i.e., APHA). 2. Provide appropriate preventative restorative dental care as needed within the administrative guidelines to all inmates. 3. Provide appropriate care for emergency patients as soon as possible. 4. Maintain cleanliness and sterile conditions in the Dental Unit. 5. Ensure continuity of care. 6. Make appropriate entries on patients’ charts. 7. Supply data for clinic reports. 8. Keep dental license up-to-date, and ensure current copy is on file in the Health Care Unit. 9. Perform other duties as required. |
| Special Instructions: | The site dentist position is a part-time opportunity for the Mt. Olive Correctional Facility located in Mt. Olive, WV. As a Wexford Health employee you are eligible for 100% medical malpractice coverage and company paid CME with time off to attend. |
