| Special Instructions: | Graduation from high school or GED and five years of responsible detention facility management/supervisory experience and at least one year in a senior level administrative or management position to include budgetary responsibilities and management of subordinate supervisory staff. Graduation from a four-year college with a degree in criminal justice, sociology, business management or public administration is preferred. Must meet minimum standards set by the North Carolina Sheriff’s Training and Standards Council for Detention Officer Certification |
