| Description: | American Correctional Solutions, a leading provider of mental health specialists to the CDCR and DMH facilities, is currently seeking licensed PSYCHIATRISTS to work at correctional institutions throughout California. The schedule is full time (40 hrs/wk) and can be performed in 4/10s or 5/8s. Part time is available at some facilities. The rate is $160.00-$177..00 per hour depending on location. Malpractice insurance can be provided and direct deposit is available with payment once per month. Forensic/correctional experience helpful but not necessary. Responsibilities include providing direct psychiatric services, comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis and treatment, including prescribing and administering psychotropic medications.
