The Director of Nursing must have the flexibility to rotate hours, shifts and/or assigned areas and be available to be called upon to provide adequate coverage during emergencies, as needed. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where employment is being sought. The DON must have a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience and direct administrative responsibility, preferably in corrections, and possess and maintain current CPR and Medication Certifications. |
