Description:	Correctional Treatment Services Director State of Delaware Department of Correction Dover, Delaware The Delaware Department of Correction is seeking a Correctional Treatment Services Director. This position is located at the Delaware Department of Correction Administration Building in Dover, Delaware. The position will report directly to the Bureau Chief of Correctional Health Care Services. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the statewide oversight of the mental health, substance abuse and sex offender services for the Delaware Department of Correction. The incumbent will ensure offenders are properly assessed and placed in appropriate treatment programs inside our facilities and the needed continued treatment upon reentry to the community. Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher in Behavioral or Social Science or related field. Six months experience in health or human services program administration such as overseeing and directing the development, implementation and evaluation of health or human services programs and services; planning and establishing short and long range program goals and objectives. Providing advice to other agency organizational units through consultation. Three years experience in developing policies and procedures. Six months experience in budget management and control which includes managing a budget for the purpose of keeping expenditures within the limitations of available appropriations and available revenue and maintaining, monitoring, projecting and controlling a budget within set policies and procedures. Six months experience in staff supervision of two or more employees which includes to plan, assign, review, discipline, recommend hire, promotion, termination and administer performance plans and reviews.
