About the Organization:
Forensic Services provides treatment of patients under civil and criminal commitment and conducts forensic evaluations. Care is provided for approximately 385 patients within a secure inpatient hospital, a supervised residential setting, and a nursing home. Forensic Services boasts dedicated professional staff providing person-centered care. The organization is Joint Commission accredited.

Job Description:
Provide ongoing psychiatric assessment and evaluations, ensuring diagnostic test, procedures and medical treatments are done; testifying in court and general consultation services. \

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing with ANCC certification as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health CNS or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Licensed or license eligible as a APRN in Minnesota.
  • Authorization from the MN Board of Nursing to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices.
