| Description: | Miami-Dade County is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to work with both the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department (MDCR) and Jackson Health Systems' Corrections Health Services (CHS) in its compliance efforts. This is highly advanced professional managerial work with administrative responsibility for directing and monitoring compliance with provisions in the Consent Agreement (CA), Settlement Agreement (SA), and a detailed plan of action established by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Miami-Dade County. The incumbent will be responsible for a myriad of duties including the development of quality assurance programs to ensure systematic analysis, self-audit and staff accountability; collaboration with MDCR and CHS; critical review of compliance documentation; and development of remediation to ensure compliance. |
| Special Instructions: | Minimum Qualifications are as follows: Bachelor's degree. A minimum of four years of administrative and managerial experience in contract compliance, quality assurance, contract auditing or monitoring performance standards in a correctional or correctional healthcare institution, penitentiary, or related criminal justice setting is required.
