Larimer County Community Corrections is looking for a Treatment Services Supervisor to join our dynamic treatment team. The Treatment Services Supervisor will be tasked with direct and indirect supervision of Team Leads, clinicians, case managers, professional staff and offenders. In addition to providing clinical supervision and training for staff, the Treatment Services Supervisor will provide therapeutic counseling and treatment services to offenders and assist in planning, organizing, and implementing treatment programming within the Community Corrections Department. Specifically this position: Provides oversight and leadership for staff and activities within the assigned treatment programs. Provides clinical supervision of direct service staff. Plans and implements comprehensive mental health and substance abuse program content. Conducts program file audits to ensure compliance with statements of work (contracts), licensing rules, internal policies, and evidence based practices. Provides assistance to management staff in the development, review, implementation and adherence to program policies, procedures, and services. Participates on department management team and internal committees, coordinate and conduct regular staff meetings, serve as liaison to local collateral agencies, provide public communication and education, responds to inquiries and complaints. Determines initial and on-going eligibility for programs including screening suitability for treatment programs; requests and reviews, treatment history, diagnosis, risk evaluation, criminal histories on incoming inmates/offenders. Coordinates and conducts inmate /offender classes, services, and programs. Qualifications: At least four years’ experience providing treatment services to those involved in the criminal justice system or in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities, with increasing supervisory or leadership responsibilities. Equivalent to a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or a related field. Mental Health Licensure preferred (must be working toward licensure currently) Supervisory experience required. Chemical Addictions Counselor III or LAC certification required. Possession of, or ability to obtain, Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications by date of hire. Maintain continuing education hours annually or as required. Other Information to Note: An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. A successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result. This posting will fill one vacancy and will be used to create an Eligibility List to be used to fill future vacancies. Starting pay for the minimum requirements is $31.44/hour. Pay may be higher for additional education or certification beyond the minimum requirements. The successful candidate for this position must be available to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays to meet program needs. Will require being on-call for the department.
