| 3 Ohio Jail Officers Face Sex, Alcohol Charges |

Three officers in the Hamilton County, Ohio corrections unit have been arrested on a variety of charges. Jerry Lunsford, 33, Lloyd Fawley, 27, and Mable Holloway, 25, in connection with an incident that allegedly happened last weekend at the Talbert House on Reading Road, according to WLWT Eyewitness News. According to a statement from the Hamilton County sheriff, the officers and two inmates consumed alcohol that was taken into the Talbert House, and at least one officer had sexual relations with an inmate. Lunsford is charged with complicity to sexual battery, dereliction of duty, and complicity to illegal conveyance of a prohibited substance into a corrections facility. Lunsford has been a sheriff's deputy for 10 years. Fawley is charged with sexual battery, dereliction of duty, and conveyance of a prohibited substance into a corrections facility. Fawley is a four-year veteran of the Sheriff's Office. Fawley and Lunsford were suspended immediately without pay, WLWT reported. Holloway is charged with dereliction of duty. She was employed with the Sheriff's Office for less than a year and was still in her probationary period; she was fired immediately, according to the statement. The suspects are being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center. 'The Sheriff's Office will not tolerate any misconduct by officers entrusted with the well-being and security of inmates in our care,' Sheriff Simon Leis said. 'In this matter as in others before, we investigated immediately upon receipt of the allegation and have taken the appropriate action.' |
