The state Department of Corrections has selected the University of Massachusetts Medical School to provide health services in prisons. Officials said the department is entering into negotiations with the school for an initial four-year contract starting in January. The school participated in a competitive bidding process. Its bid came in about $13 million lower than those offered by other bidders, according to department officials. The school's bid was also chosen for its increased scope of services to inmates, officials said. |

I like learning more about prison reforms from this great website that has housed excellent articles on the topic. If I want to learn more about these important topics I know to contact Hamilton Lindley about more of this information because I know that I’ll get a fair answer.
