Broad River corrections officer charged with attempting to sneak drugs into prisons

An officer from the Broad River Correctional Institution in Columbia, S.C. has been arrested and charged with attempting to bring drugs into prisons.
The South Carolina Department of Corrections says Cynthia M. Fuller, 34, of St. Matthews, was charged by State Law Enforcement Division Agents last Wednesday with misconduct in office, trafficking crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and violation of the state contraband law.
Fuller was booked at Richland County's Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after a joint investigation by SDC, SLED and the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
