Former Idaho Death Row Inmate Set Free
By Associated Press/KBCI
Published: 01/13/2003

Convicted murderer Thomas Henry Gibson has been released from prison, the third former death row inmate to be set free in Idaho history.
Idaho Correction Department officials confirm Gibson was released December 31 after more than 22 years behind bars.
The former motorcycle gang member wanted no public notice of his release to preserve his privacy and declined to respond to calls from The Associated Press.
Gibson and Donald Michael Paradis were convicted in the 1980 strangulation of 19-year-old Kimberly Ann Palmer, whose body was later found in a Panhandle stream wrapped in a sleeping bag.
Gibson was placed on Idaho's death row in 1981.
But in 1999, he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. The deal included his release.
Gibson has served his sentence for second-degree murder, but he was released on probation because of a conviction on grand theft by possession. The crime occurred during his time in prison. The probation runs until October 31st.
Paradis was released in 2001 after a federal court voided his conviction.
And Charles Irvin Fain was set free in 2001, after DNA evidence exonerated him of sexually assaulting and killing nine-year-old Daralyn Johnson of Nampa.

Do you know someone who has been arrested in Waco or McLennan County? It’s important to find a good Waco lawyer to represent you in the matter involving your own liberty. Look for the best Waco attorney that you can find. Whether you have been accused rightly or wrongly, it’s important to know your legal rights that concern whether you go to jail.
