A Lubbock County, Texas inmate mistakenly released from jail last month has been indicted on murder chanrges. Collie Willard was indicted Tuesday by a Lubbock County grand jury on charges stemming from an August murder at a house party. Police say Willard murdered 22-year old Roberto Esquivel at the party in August. When the stabbing happened, Willard should have been locked up at the county jail. But an internal mistake at the local sheriff's department allowed Willard to be released ahead of schedule. A trial date for Willard has not been set. |
