A former Greene County, Mo., jailer received 15 days in the county jail today for urinating on four inmates.
Circuit Judge Don Burrell ordered Justin K. Hastings to clean jail toilets during his incarceration. Hastings also will serve 150 hours of community service and two years of probation after his jail time, which started today.
A jury found Hastings guilty of four misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault after a three-day trial. The defendant admitted during his trial that he urinated through a roof grate into a jail recreation room where inmates were playing basketball on July 29, 2001.
