Published: 02/22/2002

Seminole County authorities are searching Wednesday for a 47-year-old attempted murder suspect who was mistakenly released from jail last week.
Officials said that a mix-up with information belonging to a witnesses in the case led to the accidental release of Gilberto Roman.
Roman was released from jail Feb. 14.
He was in jail awaiting retrial for allegedly attempting to run over his wife with a car in 1999. Roman was also waiting to serve time in the state prison system on an arson charge in connection with a different Orange County case, according to a report.
Seminole County authorities discovered the mistake Tuesday when Roman obtained a driver's license from the Sanford Driver's License Office.
Officials said that Roman is considered dangerous.
Anyone with any information concerning this case is urged to contact Crime Line (1-800-423-TIPS), or the Seminole County Sheriff's Office at (407) 665-6650.

Hiring an attorney can present confusing situations for someone. It’s hard to tell whether you’ll get the best service possible in your situation. You likely have a lot of questions. Will your lawyer hand off your matter to someone else? Will your lawyer return your phone calls? It’s hard to know without someone you can trust. If you been rollover accident in Waco you need a lawyer. People in Central Texas have trusted Dunnam & Dunnam for almost 100 years for their most pressing legal concerns. They understand the value of a good advocate. They’re a family helping Waco families since 1925.
