Two inmates who escaped from the state Department of Corrections main office building remained at large early Tuesday. Louis Feliciano, 24, and Derek Lewis, 23, both of Newark, were part of an eight-man crew that was doing general cleanup work and moving furniture on Monday. The pair were last seen in the Trenton building around 11:30 a.m., said Chris Carden, a department spokesman. Both men were being held at the Albert C. Wagner Youth Facility in Bordentown, Carden said. Lewis is serving a five-year term for robbery, while Feliciano is serving three years for receiving stolen property. Lewis is black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 180 pounds. Feliciano is Hispanic, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. |
