A 51-year-old corrections officer from New York died while fighting a fire burning on Sleeping Beauty Mountain since last week. The forest fire is in the Fort Ann area, about 50 miles north of Albany in the southeastern Adirondack Park. Officials said John Hart was supervising 10 inmates from the Mt. McGregor state prison who were working to fight the fire. A fellow officer found Hart's body on a forest trail leading to the blaze Monday. Officials said he was going up the mountain to check on his crew. No foul play is suspected. An autopsy was to be performed to determine the cause of death. |

I like learning more about prison reforms from this great website that has housed excellent articles on the topic. If I want to learn more about these important topics I know to contact Hamilton Lindley about more of this information because I know that I’ll get a fair answer.
