A Milwaukee county house of correction officer resigned Monday morning after admitting to contact with an inmate. Although the officer initially denied that he engaged in oral sex with the inmate, he later admitted to the act after DNA proved otherwise. The Milwaukee county district attorney's office declined to issue formal charges in the case. Officials said there is a policy in place against officers and inmates fraternizing with one another. |
