An Indiana police officer is now facing drug charges. Carl Engblom III, 30, was arrested this week on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He faces up to five years in prison if convicted of the charges. Engblom, a correctional officer at Westville Correctional Facility, was arrested by undercover drug officers after they received a tip that he was dealing drugs out of his mobile home north of Valparaiso. Engblom has been suspended without pay from his job. |
