| Inmate Found Dead at Youth Facility |

A New Jersey inmate was found dead in a cell at the Albert C. Wagner Youth Correctional Facility last week, a Corrections Department spokeswoman said. The identity of the inmate, a 25-year-old male, was not released pending notification of next of kin. Deirdre Fedkenheuer, spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections, said she had no immediate information about who discovered the body or whether foul play might have been involved. Nor was there any immediate information on what the inmate was imprisoned for. Corrections officials were investigating. Wagner is a medium security facility for young male offenders. |
