A 22-year-old Alabama inmate was found hanged in his cell at Mobile County Metro Jail. The body of Joshua Smith was found last week and attempts were made to resuscitate him without success, sheriff's spokeswoman Christina Bowersox said. She said there were no immediate signs of foul play, but the investigation was incomplete. Smith was in jail on charges of domestic violence, making harassing communications, criminal mischief and marijuana possession. |
