Rousseau was convicted in the fatal shooting of David Delitta during a robbery outside a Houston restaurant. Delitta was an agent with the Environmental Protection Agency. The case was being appealed after attorney found a bullet from a gun linked to the agent's death had been used in a slaying after Rousseau's arrest.
