Inmate Accused in Wal-Mart Robbery
By Associated Press
Published: 03/20/2006

South Dakota authorities say they believe a prison inmate from the trustee unit was the person who robbed the Wal-Mart at knifepoint.
The police chief says 21-year-old Ronald Meeter will likely be charged with first-degree robbery, escape and petty theft.
He's originally from Minnesota and was already serving prison time on a theft conviction.
Meeter has been moved to Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield.
He's accused of walking into the Wal-Mart on last week, threatening a worker with a knife and then taking off with some tobacco products.
