A California prison officer has been charged with offering to sell drugs to prisoners at the California State Prison in Sacramento. Sacramento County prosecutors have filed a complaint accusing Wallace Samuel Laffitte of offering to sell, furnish and give away a controlled substance to a person held in a state prison. The complaint also accuses Laffitte of bringing or sending methamphetamine and marijuana into the prison, which is also known as New Folsom. He's scheduled to be arraigned in Sacramento County Superior Court this week. |
