An Ohio corrections officer at the Lebanon Correctional Institution is due in court today on three drug-related charges. Toby Kerr, 39, of Middletown was in the Middletown City Jail on Sunday.
He was arrested after police responded on Friday to a neighbor's complaint about people in his apartment. Police said they found 1.2 grams of crack cocaine and a crack pipe in Kerr's apartment.
He is charged with drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse.
Kerr told police he has been a corrections officer in Lebanon for seven years.
A spokesman for the prison was unavailable for comment.
