Shreveport, LA - An inmate serving a life sentence for a murder collapsed and died at Angola State Penitentiary shortly after fighting with another inmate.

Assistant Warden Cathy Fontenot said Orland Stewart fought with Lonnie Bilbo just before his collapse on Monday. Prison emergency medical staff tried unsuccessfully to revive Stewart.

Penitentiary investigators and West Feliciana Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating Stewart's death. No charges were immediately filed against Bilbo.

Stewart was serving a live sentence for second-degree murder and a two-year sentence for aggravated battery.

A very tragic thing has happened in the Angola State Penitentiary which has startled me because of its seriousness and criticalness. One can visit rush essay source for help in assignment. Some new laws should be made to stop happening of such kind of things in the future.
