PORTLAND, OR - Police this morning tracked down the work crew inmate who walked away from his yard duty at the county fairgrounds Thursday. Joshua Valdez Hernandez, 27, of Roseburg had been missing since about 11:45 a.m. Thursday when he was last seen mowing grass. Hernandez was serving a 60-day sentence for a parole violation and was scheduled to be released June 21. An anonymous tip led police to arrest Hernandez at an apartment. Also arrested were Steven Randals and Efren Lopez Jr. All three men were charged with possession of methamphetamine. Randals is being charged with hindering prosecution. All three are being lodged at Douglas County Jail. |
