DURANT, OK - Two Bryan County inmates on the lam since last week are picked up in the Florida Keys.

Sheriff Bill Sturch says 24-year-old Justin Reynolds and 36-year-old Michael Edelen are awaiting extradition after they were captured in Key West. Sturch says Reynolds was taken into custody last night and Edelen was arrested this morning.

Jailers doing a head count found them missing on Thursday. Edelen was being held for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections after being sentenced to 10 years for drug possession. Reynolds was facing three burglary charges, minor traffic violations and a charge for escaping before in February.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation is looking into how the men were able to escape from the county's auxiliary jail. Jail Administrator Delois Phillips has said the pair used no apparent force to flee and simply walked out the door. In the aftermath of the jailbreak, two jailers were suspended.
