Judicial complex study awarded

TAOS, NM – Taos County chose design-build firm FaulknerUSA to deliver a feasibility study as part of its planned procurement of a judicial complex. The Austin, Texas, company will lead a team of national and local consultants to study a 40-acre site for the project.  The new judicial complex would include adult and juvenile detention facilities, magistrate and district courts, a sheriff's department, and offices for county administration.

           

The FaulknerUSA team includes  a variety of planners, architects and engineer firms including: Durrant of Phoenix, AZ, a nationally recognized architecture firm specializing in correctional facilities; NCA Architects of Albuquerque, NM; Daniel B. Stevens & Associates of Albuquerque, an environmental science and engineering consulting firm specializing in groundwater and surface water hydrology; BSN of Santa Fe for civil engineering and traffic analysis; and Albuquerque's Telck-Hensley Engineering Group to provide analysis of electricity, gas, and telephone service requirements.
