GUAM - The Department of Corrections announced it will make more than $600,000 worth of renovations and upgrades to its fire sprinkler system, its Residential Substance Abuse Program Facility and barriers for generator systems at the facility. The Residential Substance Abuse Facility, which once housed 50 inmates, has been uninhabitable since Supertyphoon Pongsona. The federally funded repairs are required by a U.S. Department of Justice consent decree.
