| CCA in new contract with Wyoming |

NASHVILLE, TN - Corrections Corporation of America (NYSE: CXW), has agreed to house approximately 600 of Wyoming's male medium-security inmates at its 1,440-bed North Fork Correctional Facility in Sayre, Oklahoma. CCA recently reactivated North Fork in expectation of growing demand from several state customers. The company expects to receive inmates by the end of June and house the Wyoming inmates by the end of July 2006. The terms of the Wyoming contract include an initial two-year period and may be renewed for an additional one-year period. CCA is the nation's largest provider of corrections management services to government agencies |
