The National Commission on Correctional Health Care has support from 38 major national organizations representing the fields of health, law and corrections. It is committed to improving the quality of health care in jails, prisons, and juvenile confinement facilities, and provides informaton on numerous health related issues including risk assessment and mental health screenings.
