YORK COUNTY, PA - A team of chaplains at York County Prison were presented an award for distinguished service by the Good News Jail & Prison Ministry during the organization's recent conference in Orlando. The chaplains - Ronald E. Bupp, William D. Hoey, Teresa S. Deckard and Cynthia E. Maki - lead a ministry that includes Bible study, worship services, evangelism and counseling. Good News also named senior chaplain Bupp the 2006 Chaplain of the Year, which he also received in 1990 and 2000. |
